2D Shapes (Area)

  1. Square

    • Area: A=a2A = a^2 (where aa is the side length)
  2. Rectangle

    • Area: A=l×wA = l \times w  (where ll is length and ww is width)
  3. Triangle

    • Area: A=12b×hA = \frac{1}{2} b \times h (where bb is base and hh is height)
  4. Circle

    • Area: A=Ī€r2A = \pi r^2 (where rr is the radius)
  5. Trapezium (Trapezoid)

    • Area: A=12(a+b)×hA = \frac{1}{2} (a + b) \times h (where aa and bb are the parallel sides, and hh is the height)
  6. Parallelogram

    • Area: A=b×h (where bb is base and hh is height)


3D Shapes (Surface Area and Volume)

1. Cube

  • Surface Area: SA=6a2SA = 6a^2 (where aa is the side length)
  • Volume: V=a3V = a^3

2. Rectangular Prism (Cuboid)
